My Name is Sean Coupe, I have been making art in a variety of mediums on a professional and semi professional basis for the past 30 years. Working to commission as well as for pleasure. I am inspired by the natural landscape and the way the weather impacts of the environment in which we live. I am drawn to rugged landscapes and endeavor to capture the essence of the subject matter and the atmosphere I experience during the process of painting. I like to paint En Plein Air, in an Alla Prima style. I am continually experimenting and looking at ways expanding my working practice.
